"...art is not supposed to be just beautiful, appropiate for a setting, or easy. Its most satisfying function is that it allows us to exercise our minds. An artwork will establish certain boundaries by its subject matter, style, materials, and techniques. It then lets us observe and analyze thses givens by probing and musing. By finding its ambuguities, we can proceed in a game of speculation and interpretation."
